Added some snapshots of veggies on the plants. The varieties I chose are unique and so far, they taste really, really good! You won't find them in the stores. Tonight, Madison and I cooked up some of the crop. It included Lemon Squash on the grill with a dab of butter, salt, and pepper (really buttery sweet); boiled up some Dragon's Tongue beans with a bit of stock (hearty); grilled chicken breast in a lemon pepper marinade (Maddy's choice and a good one); and topped it off with Grilled Sweet Dumpling squash with butter and brown sugar as sort of a desert. Not much better than eating your own grown. Anyway, here are some pics:
