My middle child is Donovan Kent Montgomery. I just received some prints from his senior year high school pictures. He is 17 and quite handsome if I say so myself. This kid has a good head on his shoulders and is in the process of applying for colleges as well. Best of luck kiddo.

Hurricane Sandy
Let's hold our north-eastern brethren in our hearts. Sandy looks like she's going to do some damage. The news today at 6pm has labeled it as the worst storm to ever hit the NE. What makes it so bad is that it's hitting land at high tide during a full moon phase butting up against a Canadian cold front. Extremely high storm surges are expected.

Russellville Grandkid Visit
This past weekend, we made a trip to Russellville, AR (1 hour away) to visit the grandkids and celebrate William's birthday. He turns 8 on 26 October 12. We did burgers, a nice campfire, and even waded in the Arkansas River. William stayed a night in the camper with us. Gina and I went out to eat one night and also visited the Honda shop to look at trikes. Seems Russellville has one of the largest trike shops in the country. We are leaning towards a Honda over a Harley trike if we ever decide to pull that trigger. At 30G+, it's likely not to happen for some time. That's what our Fifth Wheel cost!
I wanted to comment on the blog posting slowing down too. Since we retired this summer, original plans were to travel extensively in the RV for which this blog was to be a picture diary of sorts. It's mostly dedicated to the RV or other travel. Well, life happens and we're not traveling as much as we'd like due to continuing responsibility with my kids and we are good with it. So, travel will slow which means less blogging. Here are some pics of Russellville:
