As you know or should know, I love working on RV and retirement-related issues. I especially like working with my hands too. Had an issue. The existing switch to turn on the bathroom light was under the medicine cabinet above the sink (see pic). Can you imagine trying to find this switch in a small bathroom in the dark while having to go? Not a convenient plan on the part of Voyager's manufacturer, Carriage. At the same time, the switch to operate the vent is a tiny sucker (see pic) located above the toilet in the ceiling. It is way too high for any kiddo to reach that may have to, well….vent. So, I got-ta-thinkin' that I might as well solve both problems by wiring it in a convenient spot the same way it's wired in a typical house. Ah, what a concept. And, since I was changing the switch, I might as well update the overly loud stock fan with a modification I'd read about on RV.net--a computer 12V fan. Actually, it was two fans. Follow the progress in the pics below.

Hercules and the Mean Bean
Yesterday was pretty cool. Got to miss school, uh work! It was a snow day and an unusual occurrence in this part of Arkansas at least to this degree. So, Hercules has been sitting as he always does waiting to hit the road. Hadn't been out for a week or so. And since it snowed and we were off, looks like a road trip! We love to get out and about and we love soup especially on cold days. Humm, so, where to go? How about an old favorite we haven't been to for some time--the Mean Bean in Conway. It's a award-winning eatery. Before posting the pics, I should relate this to RV and travel so here's my stretch. We're exercising Herc and Voyager's first snow pic (even though sadly sitting). Oh, and if Gina's sister Renee reads this, we wish you could have joined us.
