Dragon's Tongue

Nice beans!  This post is really just to mark the first fruits taken from the garden and a timeline to check back on for reference to production of the Dragon's Tongue Green bean as grown in SWCs.  Looks like 45 days since planting for the first "mess."  I blanched the piddly crop and stored in freezer to await more.  I only have 7 plants and with this season, I hope to determine a few things with the beans.  Is the Dragon's Tongue good enough tasting to continue to grow?  If so, how many more plants will I need in the future to meet our needs?  Are they suitable to grow in the SWCs (yes so far)?  Note the color of the beans.  Pretty cool.

These are Dragon's Tongue beans I ordered from Baker's Creek Heirloom seed company.
