Don't you just love some of the titles I come up with? Ok, that's rhetorical, but I love them. The little things make the difference. So, Voyager's bedroom slide has always not fully retracted or extended. It would slip a little after you let off the switch. The other 2 slides, no problem. Did some research. It appears that Carriage uses a slide brake made by RBW, a part of the AL-KO company. Hope I got that right after all of the research. Anyway, it was believed that the lack of a brake was my issue almost assuredly. I ponied up $80 or so off the internet and after a few days received the brake kit. After spending some time figuring the best position for the screws length, success. Each screw has a spring and the little brake appears to be a spring-loaded electromagnet. Hit the current and it backs off so the slide can turn. Release the current, and it springs forward catching the slide motor to halt in on the spot. That equates to no slippage.
